Narandas has been supplying and making high quality jewellery since 1915 when, at the age of 16, Narandas Valabdass took over the business of his father, an immigrant from Gujerat. Nearly a century later, the Narandas brand has become synonymous with high quality hand-crafted jewellery, trusted personalised service and excellent value.
Today, Narandas operates from two international-standard jewellery stores in Durban’s Gateway and The Pavilion shopping centres. In addition, Narandas has a jewellery workshop above the Pavilion store which employs a team of more than twenty skilled goldsmiths, gemmologists and designers. The workshop produces cutting-edge, hand-crafted gold and diamond jewellery, which you can find in all of our stores.
Our highly trained and experienced in-store staff provide a wealth of knowledge and advice regarding jewellery choices. Narandas is all about personalised buying experiences and the establishment of lifelong relationships with our customers. From engagement rings to 50th wedding anniversaries, Narandas sees its customers through momentous milestones and small sentimental purchases alike.
