Gateway’s set up a buzzy, artsy art and craft studio on the Cinema level where skilled workshop facilitators will host a curated lineup of hands-on, fun creative workshops from 7-18 July. You are in for a treat as you create something special whilst escaping into your imagination and turning your thoughts into a masterpiece that you can share with the world. The workshops are perfect for the holidays because its caters for children over eight-years-old and Gateway has also included sessions that are better suited to older children and adults too.
Each session is designed for maximum creativity and support, so no previous experience or skills are required. The idea is that a simple project will be tackled from start to finish. From creating a succulent garden, to embroidery, painting on a canvas, making a piece jewellery or key ring, or line drawing each person will have the opportunity to master a new skill and express themselves in what they create. The environment is relaxed, social and engaging. Families and friends can come to enjoy their time together as well as enjoy doing something different.
Choose from a variety of different craft classes (classes subject to change without prior notice). Duration 2 hours per workshop. With two sessions a day during the week and three over the weekend, seating is limited to 32 per session, so tickets will be selling out fast at R120 a session via Webtickets. Regret No under 8’s. Children aged 8 – 12 must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket for the same workshop.
